"Carl Perkins " "Blue Suede Shoes"
"Blue Suede Shoes" is a rock song composed by American musician Carl Perkins and published as a single in 1955. This twelve- bar blues is considered by some as one of the first recordings of rock and roll history. The song came during a tour of Perkins , Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley in 1955. On one occasion , Cash told Perkins he had met a black airplane pilot while serving the army in Germany , and its military footwear referred to air regulation as a " blue suede shoes " ( blue suede shoes ) . It was then suggested to Perkins Cash write a song about those shoes , what Perkins said . " I know nothing about shoes How I can write a song about shoes ? "
