Ride the Lightning is the second album of study of the American band of thrash metal, Metallica. Megaforce Records was published on July 27, 1984 under the record stamp. Ride the Lightning was certified as golden album by the RIAA on November 5, 1987 and platinum disc was certified 5x on June 9 of 2003.2 Ride the Lightning classic metal is considered to be an album of thrash by the fans, critics and members of Metallica and is considered to be one of the best álbumes of metal of all the times. It is Metallica's last album where one accredits Dave Mustaine.
