Pink Floyd "Echoes"
"Echoes" is a song by Pink Floyd. It is widely considered the composition more ambitious band, including long instrumental passages, sound effects, and improvisations. Written by four members of the band (Roger Waters, Richard Wright, David Gilmour and Nick Mason), "Echoes" provides an extensive final album Meddle. The theme lasts 23 minutes and occupies the B side of the original vinyl record. Also appears in a reduced version as the fifth issue of the gathering that took its name, Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd. It also appears on the album Prism in 1987 as the first Medley that opens the disc together with Signs of Life. "There to Gilmour and to Wright is you forget part of the letter." Echoes"is the third longest song in Pink Floyd, after"Atom Heart Mother"(23:44) and the combined segments of" Shine on You Crazy Diamond "(26:11). A difference of those, not is explicitly divided in parts; However, the composition was originally created from fragments separated and subsequently divided into two parts to serve as opening and closing of the film Live at Pompeii.
