Pink Floys " Shine On Your Crazy Diamond"
"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is a composition of nine parts of Pink Floyd whose letter was written by Roger Waters and its music composed by Waters, Richard Wright, and David Gilmour. It was played for the first time in the tour of 1974, and recorded for the 1975 concept album Wish You Were Here. The song was made with the intention that will last a whole side of the disc as "Atom Heart Mother" and "Echoes", but it was longer than a single side of vinyl would allow, so it was separated into two parts at the beginning and at the end of the album. It is the longest song of the Group (joining its two parts), lasting 26:11, followed by Atom Heart Mother of the album Atom Heart Mother, 23:42, with Echoes of the Meddle album, which lasts 23:34. The theme is dedicated to Syd Barrett, who was one of the original members of the band.
