The Doors "Five To One"
"Five to one" is a song from The Doors, from their album of 1968 "Waitinf For The Sun". Song curiosidad:parte, was apparently lifted from the 19th century Hymnal and rhyme going to bed "now the day is over" ("Your ballroom days are over baby/Night is drawing near/Shadows of the evening/crawl across the years") by Morrison. Similarly, Morrison cited the "prayer of the child Christian" in a version in live of "Soul Kitchen" sung in 1969 and also altered them children rhyme "Jack be agile, Jack know fast, Jack jump above the candle" to part of his poem a prayer American ("disguised words, words be fast / words seem to poles"). ("Morrison possibly Thomas was referring to a history of Dylan Thomas titled fight in portrait ' of the artist as a young dog, where the protagonist reads a poem called warp five in one, the fact of five in one, principles/distorted Suns too late.").
