Pink Floyd "Learning To Fly"

Pink Floyd "Learning To Fly"

The song was primarily written by David Gilmour. This describes the concept of flying, Gilmour thing by which he has passion. Also some people and lovers [citation needed] have interpreted this as a metaphor about the beginning of something new, a radical change in the life experience, or, more specifically, the feeling of Gilmour's launch as the new leader of Pink Floyd after the departure of Roger Waters. You can also hear the voice of drummer Nick Mason, a good flier, in the middle of the song. "Learning to Fly" was included in the collection of greatest hits from Pink Floyd: Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd'(2001), A Foot in the Door (2011) and Delicate Sound of Thunder and P· U· L· S· E, double disc live published in 1988 and 1995, respectively. The song was performed regularly on the tours of Pink Floyd, guitarist Tim Renwick playing the guitar solos (even if David Gilmour solos in the song Studio version). The song has other two meanings, as some people believe. One meaning is about a pilot and the other is about a native American to pursue freedom, while listening to a voice from the past.
