Their song as well as its ninth Album is one of the best songs that has Pink Floyd.Lanzado in September 1975 and inspired by the material they composed during their European tour in 1974 and that recorded in the Abbey Road Studios in London. Its subject matter explores the absence, the music industry and the mental health problems of the former member of the band, Syd Barrett. The recording sessions were arduous and complicated, partly because the idea of Roger Waters song "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" split in two, to then join each half with three new compositions. "Shine On" is a tribute to Barrett, who, ironically, was presented in studies on June 5 while he was filming. The band it cost him recognize him due to being overweight and his change in appearance.
